Glossary
- AI Alliance
- The conceptual name for the collective of specialized, decentralized AIs operating within the Second Helix. Orchestrated by the Algorithmic Advisor, each AI has a specific function (e.g., economic analysis, security monitoring, network optimization) and communicates via the Axon language, forming the network’s collective intelligence.
- Air-Gapped
- A security measure in which a device is physically isolated from any insecure network (such as the internet). The Valorium X hardware wallet uses the Optical Matrix for communication while maintaining this air-gap, providing extremely high resistance to remote attacks.
- Algorithmic Advisor
- The decentralized Artificial Intelligence (AI) system operating within the Second Helix. Its main role is to analyze on-chain and off-chain data to propose (or, with DAO approval, automatically apply) adjustments to network economic and operational parameters, aiming for stability and efficiency. It is the protocol's “economic brain”.
- Axon
- A conceptual future machine-to-machine language designed for efficient and unambiguous communication between the various specialist AIs in the AI Alliance, as orchestrated by the Algorithmic Advisor.
- Bio-Inspired Blockchain
- The core philosophy of Valorium X: the architecture, data structures (Quadrits, Double Helix), processes (RNA Transcription, Compaction), and defense mechanisms (Immune System) are modeled on resilient biological systems, primarily DNA.
- Block RNA Template
- A lightweight, temporary data structure acting as a “messenger” in block creation. Created by a Validator Node, it holds transaction hashes and instructions for Neural Nodes, but not the full transaction data. It is the “RNA” to the First Helix’s “DNA”.
- CIP (Cryptographic Interlocking Proof)
- Valorium X’s original consensus mechanism. Instead of a simple linear hash chain, the CIP is a “digital weld” that proves a new block’s holistic coherence with multiple Coherence Anchors (metrics representing the global network state), creating a multidimensional, interwoven security fabric.
- Coherence Anchors
- A set of complex cryptographic checkpoints generated by the Second Helix. They represent the network’s overall health and state at a given moment (e.g., total supply, Neural Node status), and serve as the validation target for the CIP.
- Compaction Funnel (Goulot de Compaction)
- The entire multi-stage process of block creation, inspired by the biological compaction of DNA into a chromosome. It includes RNA Transcription, G-Quadruplex Buffer validation, and CIP computation by Neural Nodes, transforming raw transactions into a finalized secure block.
- Conceptual Grand Work (Grand Œuvre Conceptuel)
- The master design document for the Valorium X project, detailing its vision, philosophy, architecture, tokenomics, and roadmap. It serves as the internal “bible” for development.
- Constitution (The Immutable Laws)
- The foundational set of unchangeable principles of the Valorium X ecosystem (e.g., Inviolability of the First Helix, User Sovereignty, Proof of Useful Work), designed to protect the project’s core vision and only amendable through extraordinary governance.
- Double Helix
- The foundational architecture of Valorium X, consisting of two intertwined but distinct “strands”:
- First Helix: The immutable Data Ledger, storing transactions and states. The “DNA”.
- Second Helix: The intelligent Operational Brain, handling analysis, consensus orchestration, and governance. - Entangled Parcel Model (UTXO-DNA)
- The value management model within the Valorium X Wallet. Inspired by Bitcoin’s UTXO model, it treats each incoming fund reception as a distinct, individually secured “parcel” linked to a unique key. This prevents a single key compromise from draining the entire wallet, crucial for long-term holders (“whales”).
- G-Quadruplex Buffer
- Valorium X’s advanced mempool, inspired by the four-stranded G-quadruplex DNA structure. It acts as a multi-factor compliance airlock, checking Block RNA Templates against four strands of validation (cryptographic integrity, state coherence, reputation, and AI-driven behavioral analysis) before processing by Neural Nodes.
- Layer 1
- The base-level blockchain protocol. Valorium X is a sovereign Layer 1, meaning it is not built on another blockchain like Ethereum; its native token and technology are fully self-contained.
- MVP (Minimum Viable Product)
- A first operational version focused on validating the core CIP consensus mechanism before rolling out all advanced features.
- Maillage
- Term used to describe the complex, multi-scale, self-organizing network formed by all nodes (Neural Nodes, Validator Nodes, etc.) and their dynamic connections in Valorium X. The maillage ensures resilience, redundancy, and optimal routing, inspired by biological or neural networks.
- Neural Node
- A specialized node responsible for providing Proof of Useful Work. These are the “miners” of the ecosystem, dedicating computational power (often from GPUs or dedicated AI hardware) to execute intensive tasks for the Second Helix, such as calculating the CIP and running AI models.
- Optical Matrix
- The secure, air-gapped communication protocol for the Valorium X hardware wallet. Uses a wireless optical link (e.g., infrared LED) to transmit signed transaction data as light pulses, making it highly resistant to network-based attacks.
- Proof of Useful Work
- The core principle behind Neural Nodes’ work. Unlike traditional Proof-of-Work (which burns energy on arbitrary puzzles), Proof of Useful Work directs computational power toward tasks of intrinsic value to the network, such as AI analysis, CIP calculations, or dApp services.
- Quadrit (Quaternary Digit)
- The fundamental unit of information in Valorium X, inspired by the four DNA bases (A, T, C, G). A Quadrit can represent one of four states, containing two bits of classical information.
- Quantum Quadrit (QQ)
- A new cryptographic primitive conceptualized by Valorium X. It fuses the principles of Quadrit-based data structures with lattice-based cryptography, creating a multi-dimensional object designed to be intrinsically resistant to quantum analysis, forming the basis of the network’s security-by-design philosophy.
👉 Read the article on the Quantum Quadrit - Rejection Charter
- The public, auditable set of rules that defines “malicious” or “non-compliant” transactions. It is the basis of the network’s immune system, which can quarantine and penalize transactions that violate this charter.
- Slashing
- The punitive mechanism by which a node that acts maliciously or fails to follow protocol rules has a portion of its staked tokens confiscated. These funds are redirected to the community Treasury.
- Stencil
- The official, immutable registry of compliant software for the Valorium X network. It records the cryptographic hashes (SHA-512) of all official node software versions. Nodes must pass a compliance check against the Stencil to participate in the network, forming a key part of the immune system.
- Tokenomics
- The science of the token economy. For Valorium X, this covers all aspects of its native token’s creation, management, and utility, including supply, distribution, issuance, and burn mechanisms, designed for a sustainable and balanced ecosystem.
- Validator Node
- A type of node in the Valorium X network whose primary role is to validate incoming transactions, “transcribe” them into Block RNA Templates, and propose these templates to the network for CIP calculation by the Neural Nodes.
- Vesting
- The process by which tokens allocated to team members or early investors are released gradually over a set period (the vesting schedule), aligning long-term interests and preventing massive sell-offs at launch.
- VIP (Valorium Improvement Proposal)
- A formal document providing information to the Valorium X community, or describing a new feature for its protocol or environment. VIPs are the primary mechanism for proposing, debating, and ratifying changes to the network.
- Wallet (The Valorium X Wallet)
- An active and intelligent security agent designed for ultimate user sovereignty. Key features include Biometric DNA Seeding for master key generation, Optical Matrix for air-gapped communication, a living defense system with Dynamic “Mutating” Keys, and the Entangled Parcel Model for asset protection.
